DCCI Committees

Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community

From its annual meeting each year, the members elect industry representatives whose responsibilities include bringing forward issues from their specialist sectors for executive discussion and action. Reporting of market conditions within each industry sector at monthly meetings also provides the Chamber with current information on market trends and the health of the local economy. This also gives an indication of the local market as compared with the overall State economy.

The Retail & Tourism Committee assists in brainstorming and developing ideas to progress opportunities for retailers and tourism in Devonport. Working alongside both the Devonport City Council, local tourism and local retailers, it is a conduit for ideas to support local businesses and promote Devonport as a shopping destination and centre of retail and tourism excellence.
